About
Areas of Focus
I focus primarily on working with couples and women navigating life's most meaningful (and most challenging) moments.
Â
For my work with couples, I provide a space to deepen connection, rebuild trust, and navigate conflict with understanding, care and practical steps forward.

In individual therapy, I specialize in working with women navigating the full range of mental health concerns that emerge across a woman's life including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, relationship stress, parenting, PMDD, perinatal and postpartum adjustment, life transitions, and grief.

My approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and practical - grounded in psychodynamic and attachment-based frameworks, and tailored to who you are. I value creating a safe space where you feel truly heard and understood, while also identifying real, meaningful steps forward.

My Background
I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves a space to feel supported, understood, and hopeful as they navigate challenges and difficulty. That belief is at the center of everything I do in the therapy room.

My path to this work includes time in humanitarian relief, supporting transitional-age teens as a live-in houseparent, and founding a local group for moms navigating the early years of parenthood. Those experiences have always come from the same place - a deep desire to support others in difficult moments. Becoming a therapist was a natural extension of that.

When I'm not in session, you'll find me spending time with my husband and kids, taking walks around Santa Cruz, or dropping into a local coffee shop.

"The goal of psychodynamic therapy is not symptom relief alone — it is a fuller, freer life."Â
